Portland Trail Blazers center Jusuf Nurkic suffered a gruesome left leg injury in the second overtime of their game against the Brooklyn Nets.

Nurkic was immediately stretchered off the floor.

Jusuf Nurkic picked up the injury while fighting for an offensive rebound midway through the second OT. The Bosnian big man fell awkwardly and his left leg was unable to hold him after stepping on Jared Dudley's foot.

The 24-year-old big man was visibly in pain, as both the Blazers and Nets players looked away at the sight of the horrific injury. The team's medical staff quickly attended to Nurkic and stretchered him off the court.

According to reports, Nurkic suffered a compound fracture. However, more details will be released as soon as the Blazers determine the extent of the injury.

With the devastating event, Nurkic is now likely out for the rest of the season and the playoffs — a huge blow to a Portland team that has high hopes of making it past the first round of the postseason.

Nurkic is averaging a career-high 15.4 points to go along with 10.3 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 1.0 steal and 1.4 blocks. In their game against the Nets, the former Denver Nuggets center put up a monster double-double of 32 points and 16 rebounds.

The Blazers went on to win, 148-144.
