The Portland Trail Blazers are set to get a shot in the arm later tonight in Game 2 of their first-round series with the New Orleans Pelicans. According to Jason Quick of NBC Northwest, Blazers small forward Moe Harkless is deemed available to see action this Tuesday against the Pelicans.

Harkless has not seen action since Mar. 25 due to a left knee injury. Since then, Harkless has missed a total of 10 games, which includes Portland’s 97-95 loss to New Orleans in Game 1 last Saturday. With Harkless back, the Blazers will have more depth in the wings and more scoring.

Moe Harkless averaged just 6.5 points in 29 games in the regular season, but he was having a solid stretch before going down with a knee injury last month. In his last six games played, Harkless averaged 14.8 points for the Blazers, who are looking to avoid falling down a 0-2 hole in the first round.

Harkless’ return also comes at a time when the Blazers’ dynamic duo of Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum are battling inconsistency, so he’s expected to play a significant role right away. Lillard and McCollum combined for only 37 points in game 1 on a horrendous 13-for-41 shooting from the field.

The Blazers are 3-1 in their last four games at Moda Center.
