Adrian Wojnarowski drops a major Woj-Bomb ahead of the NBA Draft. The Blazers are giving up a 2025 first-round pick via the Milwaukee Bucks in exchange for the star power forward Jerami Grant. This is a huge deal for Portland, as they reel in another star to play alongside Damian Lillard and Jusuf Nurkic.

Additionally, the Blazers didn't give up the No. 7 overall selection in the 2022 NBA Draft. Portland walks away from the deal with a massive upgrade at power forward while retaining an important asset to acquire another exciting player. Whether they select a legitimate prospect or trade the pick for another star is yet to be determined. However, the organization has made a massive move to improve the roster.

Meanwhile, the Pistons are clearly seeking as many young players and future draft picks as possible. It's a questionable trade for Detroit though, as the draft pick they've acquired is likely to be late considering the Bucks are going to be contenders with Giannis Antetokounmpo leading the way. Even so, the Blazers are happy to acquire Jeremi Grant at a reasonable price as he gives Portland reliability at the power forward position.

Now, all eyes are on the front office as the team has multiple directions to go. After spending a season in the dumps, it looks like the Blazers may bounce back a lot sooner than anticipated. Keep an eye on Portland, as they could be involved in another big trade during the NBA Draft.
