Portland Trail Blazers swingman Rodney Hood and center Hassan Whiteside are listed as probable for the team's matchup with the Golden State Warriors Monday night in San Francisco:

Hood suffered an apparent knee injury and had to be helped off the floor after colliding with Sixers guard Ben Simmons on Saturday night. Whiteside did not play against the Sixers after a knee injury of his own that he sustained earlier in the week against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

The Trail Blazers re-signed Hood this summer after he emerged as a legitimate scoring option and a playoff hero for Portland last year. Through six games, Hood is the third-leading scorer, and he is shooting better than 50 percent from beyond the arc.

Portland acquired Whiteside from the Miami Heat as part of a four-team deal that sent Maurice Harkless to the Clippers and Meyers Leonard to Miami.

While Whiteside drew criticism for his demeanor in South Beach, he has shown signs of being an extremely productive frontcourt piece for the Trail Blazers. Whiteside is averaging 12.8 points and 12.2 rebounds through five games, including 3.0 offensive rebounds per game.

Despite their individual contributions, Hood and Whiteside have not been able to help the Trail Blazers (3-3) get above the .500 mark.

Portland clearly missed Whiteside on Saturday night. The Trail Blazers were out-rebounded by the Sixers even though Philly did not have Joel Embiid in the lineup. Damian Lillard has been typically excellent early in the season, but C.J. McCollum has been inefficient.

The Trail Blazers will look to get back on track against a depleted Warriors squad.
