Portland Trail Blazers head coach Terry Stotts has received a contract extension from the team.

The Blazers reached the Western Conference Finals this season for the first time since 2000.

Stotts has been with the Blazers since 2012. He has a regular season record of 440-417 and a playoff mark of 20-36. There were whispers that the Blazers were going to fire Stotts last season after Portland was swept by the New Orleans Pelicans in the first round of the playoffs, but ownership decided to stick behind Stotts and it paid off this season.
