Seth Curry finally got the monkey off his back, scoring his first win over his older brother in his NBA career.

Seth played a big role in Portland Trail Blazers', 110-109, overtime win over the Golden State Warriors on Thursday night. According to ESPN, it was Seth's first victory against Steph Curry in their seven meetings. Seth previously faced his more decorated brother as a member of the Dallas Mavericks and Sacramento Kings.

Portland also ended an undesirable streak. It was revealed that the Trail Blazers defeated the Warriors for the first time at the Oracle Arena in the Steve Kerr era. The three-time NBA champion coach accepted the Warriors coaching job before the 2014-15 NBA season.

Seth led a rally early in the fourth quarter for the Trail Blazers. The younger Curry scored all of his 11 markers on that stretch, where he knocked down three big three-pointers, including one over Steph. Seth Curry gave Portland an 86-76 lead with 7:44 minutes left to play in the game before Golden State recovered to force an overtime.

Jusuf Nurkic led the Trail Blazers with 27 points and 12 rebounds on top of four assists. CJ McCollum had 24 points but shot just 7-for-22 from the field. Damian Lillard ended up with 21 points and five assists, and was responsible for the game-winning three-pointer in overtime, helping Portland score their 20th win this season.

On the other hand, Steph Curry paced the Warriors with 29 points to go along with seven assists and five rebounds. Kevin Durant posted 26 points and 11 boards, while Draymond Green and Klay Thompson added 15 points apiece.

The Warriors have now lost two straight games, dropping their record to 23-13. They will look to end their current skid when they collide with Portland again at the Moda Center on Saturday night.
