The Portland Trail Blazers got blown out in Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals, as the Golden State Warriors cruised to a 116-94 victory. Blazers' Damian Lillard struggled against the Warriors defense, scoring 19 points on 4-12 shooting. After the game, NBA analyst Skip Bayless had some choice words for the All-Star guard, calling him a ‘stupor star.'

After defeating the Oklahoma City Thunder in the first round, Lillard has started to be inconsistent against the Denver Nuggets in the semi-finals, and it seemed to have carried on against the Warriors.

But the main issue of the Blazers in Game 1 was their defense on the Warriors, particularly on guards Steph Curry and Klay Thompson. Portland allowed the sharpshooting backcourt to take a ton of wide open shots, which resulted in 12 made 3-pointers.

Curry scored 36 points while Thompson finished with 26, as they led Golden State to a 50 percent shooting from the field.

Lillard was not the only one to blame for the Blazers' blowout loss, as the entire team shot an abysmal 36 percent from the field. However, it is clear that if he will be a non-factor on offense, the team won't have a chance in pulling off an upset against the two-time defending champs.

Game 2 of the series will be on Thursday, where the Blazers will look to even things up, and they must do everything to do so, as things might become a little bit more difficult for them, especially if Kevin Durant returns in Game 3.
