Portland Trail Blazers big man Zach Collins is expected to miss the team's next two road games because of the shoulder injury he suffered in their win against the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday.

Collins suffered the injury late in the fourth quarter when he was battling for a rebound. When the Blazers' training staff knew that there was something wrong, they immediately assisted him back to the locker room.

After the game, Collins told the media that the team's training staff was able to pop his shoulder back in. He already underwent an MRI in San Antonio, but the team still plans to re-evaluate him once they return to Portland.

The Blazers are set to face the San Antonio Spurs and the Philadelphia 76ers before returning home.

In the three games he has played in for the Blazers, Collins has averaged 9.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists while shooting 47.4 percent from the field and 42.9 percent from the free throw line.

Portland's frontcourt is already thin at the moment, as Jusuf Nurkic (leg) and Pau Gasol (ankle) are still recovering from their respective injuries. Losing Collins would mean more minutes for Hassan Whiteside, who has been averaging a double-double in points and rebounds for the Rip City squad.
