Damian Lillard plans to foil the Curry brothers' homecoming in Charlotte during NBA All-Star Weekend.

The Portland Trail Blazers' star guard predicted his 3-Point Contest victory “Larry Bird style” on Tuesday.

Lillard has all of the tools to do it, as he possesses limitless range, and is one of the most stellar scoring weapons in the NBA. The 28-year-old veteran has shot 37.1 percent on 2.8 threes made per game this season.

His competition will be none other than two-time league MVP Stephen Curry, who will be gunning for his second trophy after winning the event back in 2015 in New York. His younger brother and Lillard's current Blazers teammate Seth Curry will also be participating.

While Steph is indisputably one of the greatest volume shooters that the game has ever seen, a lot of attention has been shifted to Seth in the past couple of years for how well he can drop it in from deep – second in the NBA shooting 48 percent from beyond the arc.

Though it's going to be exciting to see if one of the two Carolina boys can come out on top, Lillard has suddenly made this portion of the weekend's festivities a rivalry that will end up being a must-see.

The three sharpshooters will join future Dallas Mavericks Hall of Famer Dirk Nowitzki and Sacramento Kings shooting guard Buddy Hield in the competition as well.

The 3-point shootout will take place on Saturday, Feb. 16 at 8 p.m. ET on TNT.
