Portland Trail Blazers star guard Damian Lillard dropped Mason Plumlee of the Denver Nuggets with a spin move. He then skied to the rim for a one-handed flush.

Was it a legitimate ankle breaker? Or did Lillard get away with a slight nudge?

Either way, this will definitely be filed under tons of Lillard's highlights. The 2019-20 campaign will be Lillard's eighth season in the league. In his tenure in Portland, Lillard has led the team to six playoff appearances. Last season was their best playoff run thus far, as they made it to the Western Conference Finals.

In June, the Blazers and Lillard agreed to a supermax deal that will pay the All-Star guard $196 million over four seasons. Safe to say that the Lillard-Portland partnership will not end anytime soon.

This year, the goal remains the same for Lillard and crew, and that's to win the title. For the past several years, the Blazers have easily qualified for the postseason. Come playoff time, however, they somehow lose their luster and underperform.

The key pieces they added over the summer such as Hassan Whiteside, Pau Gasol and Mario Herzonja are expected to elevate them and take that step to the next level. Hopefully, the Blazers can get over that playoff hump.
