Portland Trail Blazers superstar point guard Damian Lillard recently starred in a Hulu commercial without being on the set.
Since Damian Lillard is in Orlando, Florida getting buckets for the Blazers, Hulu used artificial intelligence to place Lillard's face on a stunt double's body for the commercial.

Hulu marketing VP Ryan Crosby spoke about the Damian Lillard AI commercial with Janko Roettgers of Protocol:
“Throughout each shoot, we captured several different facial angles including straight-to-camera, 45-degree angle, 90-degree side angle, looking up and looking down,” Crosby said.
“Athletes were asked to say the vowels (‘A' ‘E' ‘I' ‘O' ‘U') at each angle along with ‘Hulu Has Live Sports Again.' We also recorded several different facial expressions that pertain to their specific movements and speaking lines within the spot.”
Damian Lillard won the seeding games MVP after leading the Blazers to the playoffs with some stellar outings. Portland is currently tied with the Los Angeles Lakers at 1-1 in the first round of the 2020 playoffs.
Damian Lillard averaged 30.0 points per game during the 2019-20 regular season, which included the eight seeding games. The Blazers' best player put up 37.6 points in the seeding games, rebounding nicely after he missed two missed free-throws in a game against the Los Angeles Clippers.
Moving forward, Blazers fans are hoping Lillard's finger won't impact his shooting ability. The All-Star guard dislocated his left finger in Game 2 against the Lakers.
