Portland Trail Blazers star guard Damian Lillard unleashed a hesitation move en route to a slam dunk against the LA Clippers.

Lillard was trying to get his team back in the game. They were down by double digits in a hostile LA crowd. Like the true leader that he is, Lillard took the matter into his own hands hoping that his aggressiveness and energy will inspire his teammates. And it definitely worked. The Blazers ended the second half with a manager seven-point deficit, 47-40.

The Blazers entered the game with a 3-4 record. It's a relatively slow start for a team that has qualified for the playoffs for six consecutive years. There's a ton of season left and the Blazers will definitely get their groove on soon.

Last year, they were swept in the Western Conference Finals by the Golden State Warriors. This year, Lillard believes that they have a legitimate shot at the title now that the league is more balanced.

“Like, it's actually possible, we can actually get there, the league is more balanced this year. So my mind is just focused on that. I'm not gonna entertain or be worried about who said what, what I need to try and do. I know in my heart that I'm about the team and I'm trying to win,” per Casey Holdahl of nba.com

Do you agree with Lillard? Will this be finally their year? Will Lillard finally be recognized as one of the top players in the league?
