Although the Los Angeles Clippers were eliminated by Damian Lillard and the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday night, they certainly gained the respect of many.

While playing without their two All-Stars in Blake Griffin and Chris Paul, the Clippers nearly pulled off a Game 6 upset on the Blazers' home court. Perhaps no player gained more respect with his performance than that of Austin Rivers, who suffered a bloody cut above his left eye in the first quarter due to this elbow from Al-Farouq Aminu:

Rivers suffered the injury in the first quarter, went back to the locker room, and returned during the second quarter.
