Chicago Bears quarterback Mitchell Trubisky is questionable for Sunday's game against the New York Giants after leaving the team's loss against the Los Angeles Rams with a hip pointer. Bears coach Matt Nagy made it clear that if Trubisky is healthy, he will be the starter. Assuming he plays on Sunday, let's breakdown three bold predictions for his performance.

3. Gets out to another slow start

There is no doubt Trubiksy has struggled this year, but a lot of issues also come down to the playing calling by Nagy. In each of the last two games there has been conservative play-calling by Nagy, making it clear that he is trying to protect Trubisky from making a mistake.

The playcalling has led to slow starts, and especially in the game against the Lions, once Nagy started to let him throw the ball around, Trubisky began to playing a lot better.

With Trubisky dealing with the hip, the play calling will probably continue its conservative nature, meaning there is going to be a slow start in the first half for Trubisky.

2. Trubisky has less than 20 passing attempts

Along with the first point about getting out to a slow start, it should be expected the Bears will focus on running the ball in this game. The Giants pass defense has been bad, but their run defense has been just as bad, giving up 122.7 yards per game on the ground. Look for there to be drives where Trubisky doesn't even attempt a pass.

It feels as if Trubisky will finish with 17 or 18 pass attempts.

1. Trubisky is benched

When Trubisky was taken out of the last game against the Rams, it was blamed on a hip injury. However, most believe there was more than just a hip injury that went into the decision.

In this game, there won't be any need to blame a hip injury; it's going to be the poor play that gets him to sit on the bench. It's pretty clear this offseason the team is going to look for another quarterback to replace Trubisky. Chase Daniels, at this point, gives the team a better chance to win.

The Giants' pass defense is terrible, but that isn't going to matter to Trubisky because he is going to make them look like a good secondary. Don't be shocked if this is the last for Trubisky in a Bears offense, and who knows, maybe his last start in the NFL.
