Boston Celtics head coach Brad Stevens took on his post-game press conference duties following a 135-102 blowout loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

The x's and o's man noted the improvements the team had made throughout the season, but wasn't afraid to set his team's standard even higher.

“We got a long way to go,” said Stevens in his post-game press conference via Boston.com. “We had a great year, we made in someways a run at it. We made progress, but not good enough.”

“I said it before, if you coach in Boston, good enough is what matters.”

The Celtics will have a good look at the scope of the team during the offseason, devising how they can potentially get past a juggernaut like the Cavaliers in the East.

“Whether the guys in our locker room are on our team next year or not, I'll have a great affinity for them, same way with guys that have been here in the past,” Stevens said. “We got a good amount of people that will be back and obviously a strong core with some signing opportunities in the draft.”

The Celtics coach also addressed how the organization will handle having the No. 1 overall selection in this year's draft class.

“It's pretty cool to think that in three weeks you have the No. 1 pick in the draft,” he said. “Means that I gotta go right back to work tomorrow, but I'm excited to watch some of these prospects.”
