Through a very emotional Game 3 against the Boston Celtics, tempers flared as the Washington Wizards fought their way to a win, needing another one at home to even out the series come Saturday night.

Thursday's game saw eight technical fouls and three ejections during a high-octane, tit-for-tat outing that was tough to keep eyes off of.

Wizards reserve forward Kelly Oubre was quickly tossed after charging at Celtics center Kelly Olynyk, setting the tone for an already very chippy game between all players involved.

Point guard Brandon Jennings would eventually meet the same fate later in the game when he got into an incessant back-and-forth war of words with Terry Rozier. The game officials eventually had enough of the chirping and tossed them both from the game during garbage time, as a result of three regular fouls and four technicals over a 52-second span.

“Kelly's my young boy, so it's kind of like: when Kelly gets kicked out, I'm probably next,” Jennings told reporters post-game, according to CSN's Chase Hughes. “Probably the organization is like ‘listen man, we've got these two crazy dudes coming off the bench and we don't know which one is gonna get kicked out tonight.' I just like to bring physical play. I like to get into guys mentally.”

Neither Oubre or Jennings are very imposing players physically, nor do they lack any fight when one is put right in front of them. The two would later meet each other in the locker room.

“That's my brother. It's kind of like we are on the same string some times,” Oubre said. “Third quarter, I took a shower because it was intermission and I came out the shower and he was just sitting there at his locker. I'm like, ‘Oh, you too, bro?'

“It was one of those moments, one of those bro moments.”

Many figured it would take things boiling over for Washington to have an appropriate response to going down 0-2 early in the series. The Wizards ultimately responded, once again carving a big lead in the first quarter, but managing to keep it this time en route to a 116-89 Game 3 win.
