The Atlanta Braves are set to receive a massive boost to the roster on Monday, with both the bullpen and outfield in line to get some important reinforcements. The Braves activated outfielder Eddie Rosario and relief pitcher Tyler Matzek from the Injured List on July 4, clearing them to feature in Monday's game against the St. Louis Cardinals, the team announced via Twitter.

Rosario, who won the World Series MVP last season after a dominant showing against the Houston Astros, has featured in just 15 games during the regular season. The 30-year-old outfielder was dealing with complications to his vision and was forced to undergo a laser eye procedure. He was placed on the 10-day IL back in late April and is finally set to be activated ahead of the All-Star break.

Across 15 games this year, Rosario struggled mightily, slashing .068/.163/.091 with just 3 hits across 44 at-bats. His blurred vision certainly played a factor in his disappointing start to the season, which was a big blow for the Braves after they signed him to a two-year, $18 million contract in the offseason.

He performed well during his rehab appearances and seems to have put his vision issues behind him. In his return to MLB action, Braves fans will be hoping to see more of the player that helped bring a World Series to Atlanta, and less of the one who recorded a -1.2 WAR in 15 games.

As for Matzek, the southpaw featured in 13 games this year, recording a 5.06 ERA with 10 strikeouts in 10.2 innings. He'll also be looking to get back on track, having logged a sub-3.00 ERA in each of his past two seasons with the Braves.
