The Atlanta Hawks were entering trade talks with teams to deal Paul Millsap in order to free up space to retain forward/center The Al Horford.

However, they'll no longer need to seek out a trade as Horford has announced via his Twitter account that he's going to sign with the Boston Celtics

Horford was arguably the second best and sought after free agent available this summer behind Kevin Durant, and after deliberating for most of the first two days of free agency, Horford decided to go north to the Celtics.

Horford averaged 15.2 points, 7.3 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 1.5 blocks per game while shooting 51% from the field and 34% from downtown. He'll join a Celtics team that was arguably a piece or two away from contending for a title.
