As if things couldn't get any worse for the Los Angeles Clippers, the team announced today that an MRI on Blake Griffin‘s quad revealed a reaggravation of the previous injury that held him out from December of 2015 to early April of 2016.

Rowan Kavner of Clippers.com further reported on Griffin's injury.

An MRI on Tuesday morning revealed no further structural damage, and Griffin will be ready for the start of training camp next season, but his 2015-16 playoffs are done.

With Game 5 between the Clippers and the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday night, the playoff hopes for Clipper fans everywhere seems to have gone down alongside Blake Griffin. Oh, and he's not the only Clipper out, as Chris Paul also went down after suffering a broken hand in last night's game.
