The Indiana Pacers have made some splashy moves this offseason and become legitimate contenders in the East. On Thursday night, they made another good move, picking up forward/center Kevin Seraphin on a two-year deal worth $3.6 million.
The deal was reported by Shams Charania of The Vertical.

Last season, Seraphin played just 48 games for the Knicks and averaged 3.9 points, 3.6 rebounds, 1.0 assists, and 0.8 blocks per game. For his career, he's averaged 6.1 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 0.8 blocks. He played for the Washington Wizards for the first five years of his career before signing with the New York Knicks last year.
Seraphin is a talented player, but will likely play behind Myles Turner and Al Jefferson in the Pacers' rotation. Given playing time, however, Seraphin can be a key contributor to Indiana.
