Brett Brown sounds to be pretty high on Sergio Rodriguez.

The Spanish point guard is coming back over to the NBA this season to play for the Philadelphia 76ers. Brown is excited about what Rodriguez can bring to the team.

That's pretty high praise for Rodriguez.

The Sixers need to figure out things with their roster. They have a ton of young big men who will compete for minutes and are a little light at the wing and guard positions.

The offense will certainly circulate through No. 1 overall pick Ben Simmons but another creator like Rodriguez will help out a lot.

Rodriguez has been a mainstay with the Spanish national team for some time now and he represented his country this summer in Rio.

The 30-year-old played four seasons in the NBA from 2006-2010, mostly with the Portland Trail Blazers and then with the Kings and Knicks. His NBA career averages: 4.3 points, 2.9 assists, 31.6 three-point percentage.

For the past six seasons, Rodriguez has played for Real Madrid. Last season, he averaged 12.1 points and 6.1 assists, shooting 50.4 percent from the field and 40.5 percent from three. He's a different player than he was when he last played in the NBA.
