The Sacramento Kings announced on April 14 that they had fired then head coach George Karl. Since then there have been numerous rumors circulating about whom they might be interested in for the position.

According to Sam Amick of USA TODAY Sports, the Kings are now looking at Brian Shaw as a potential replacement and there is a mutual interest.

Ironically, Shaw is the same person the Denver Nuggets brought in to replace George Karl back in 2013, an arrangement that did not work out for the Nuggets. In just under two seasons as the head coach, Shaw had a 56-85 win-loss record.

He was fired in March of 2015.
