Denver Broncos rookie left tackle Garett Bolles has been a solid player this season for the NFL franchise. Despite being a bit longer in the tooth than most rookies (he's 25), he's making an important and immediate impact in helping Denver's offensive line protect the quarterback.

According to Garett Bolles, this is incredibly important, as hurting his gunslinger would be like hurting someone he shares a bed with. And, yes, that will make sense after you read this quote:

“I love Trevor [Siemian]; I give him a hug everyday. Like I told you, my quarterback is my wife, so I really don’t care who’s back there, I’m going to protect them like it is,” Bolles said, via The Denver Post’s Nicki Jhabvala. “I love Brock, since he’s been here we’ve built a relationship. I’m excited to see what he can do.”

A few quick thoughts here:

  • Garett Bolles loves a lot of people (in quick fashion).
  • His wife? What a weird connection point.
  • He's now my new favorite left tackle in the NFL for all of this.

Nevertheless, Denver has a ton of concerns moving forward for the rest of the season. While Bolles has been relatively good this season, many of his teammates have not. This isn't only limited to the offensive line, but the quarterback play as well as some trouble rushing the football.

Here is to hoping all that love pulsating through the rookie left tackle's body does the team some good. Nevertheless, if nothing else, no one hurt his QB — only trouble would be waiting.
