The NFLPA has one week for its member-players to vote on the NFL's proposed new Collective Bargaining Agreement, but one day into the potential ratification or rejection of the deal, Denver Broncos veteran cornerback has come out strongly against the proposal.

Harris Jr., 30, shared on social media on Thursday morning, “Gotta Vote No on that CBA.”

The CBA proposal was narrowly passed through the initial NFLPA representatives committee 17-14-1, allowing Harris Jr. and the players union's entire membership base to vote on ratifying the deal. There is still a lot of speculation on which way players will go, with the inclination being a no deal at this time. Players are still split on accepting some benefits for other drawbacks, chief among them being a proposed 17th regular-season game for a slight increase in player share in the annual league revenue.

Green Bay Packers star quarterback Aaron Rodgers, a representative in the committee, explained his “no” vote to pass on the CBA to the entire union.

While Harris plans to vote no on the proposal, the four-time Pro-Bowler has been talked about greatly as a free agent target. Harris was nearly traded at the NFL's deadline mid-season last year to the Detroit Lions, and now the Broncos have traded for Jaguars cornerback AJ Bouye. Multiple teams could bid on the Super Bowl champion defensive back, including the Houston Texans, New York Jets, Detroit Lions, Dallas Cowboys, and Las Vegas Raiders.

Should the NFLPA reject the CBA proposal, more discussions on the future of the league's labor relations will spill over into March and April while players like Harris seek new deals in free agency.
