The Denver Broncos are out of the playoff picture so they don't have any particular reason to win their season finale against the Oakland Raiders. However, Chris Harris may be playing his final game as a Bronco on Sunday.

ESPN's Jeff Legwold got to talk to the cornerback during one of the team's final practice sessions for the season. Harris was naturally questioned about his future as he's on an expiring contract. However, Harris didn't answer the question and was just thankful that he got this opportunity with the Broncos.

“Man, I'm just so thankful to the Broncos, it's been a great nine years here, whatever happens happens, I'm just focusing on finishing the year strong and do whatever I can to into the game with a clear mind and play the best I can.”

It hasn't been a great season for the Broncos so far as their offense was not effective enough to beat their opponents in the AFC West. However, they have a top-ten defense in the NFL thanks to the efforts of players like Harris.

The corner himself had quite a productive season. Through 15 games for the Broncos this season, he's notched 54 tackles, one interception that went for 11 yards, six pass deflections, and one forced fumble. His presence in the Broncos secondary helped make the Broncos the sixth-best passing defense in the NFL.

If Harris does walk away from the team, it would end a nine-year association that began in 2011. He would still get plenty of offers from contenders as he's still a productive defenders at his age, but it's unknown where he'll actually go until the offseason begins in earnest.
