Heading into his ninth season in the NFL, there have been some questions around wide receiver Demaryius Thomas' future with the Denver Broncos.

Despite that, Thomas has been able to move past all of that as he has been able to put together a strong offseason program that has put him in great physical shape while performing at a high level on the field, according to James Palmer of The NFL Network.

The Broncos are hoping that he can prove to be a huge piece of the puzzle offensively next season as he has through the bulk of his NFL career with the franchise. Prior to the 2017 campaign, he had notched five straight years with at least 90 catches and 1,000 receiving yards that had established himself as one of the most productive wideouts in the league. He did have a minor step back this past year notching 83 catches for 949 receiving yards and five touchdowns.

What should help him get back on track could be finally having stability under center as Denver has added Case Keenum to take over the starting job this upcoming season. Keenum could prove to be the missing piece to the offense that brings more balance while better utilizing his talent in the passing game that is headed by Thomas.

This is something that time will only tell if it was the right move that could push the team forward while helping their star wideout get back on track to being one of the top players in the league at his position.
