It’s been a busy week for Josh Rosen. The highly-rated quarterback prospect has already worked out for the Browns, Giants, Bills, and Jets over the past couple of days. And now, he’s set to end it with one more workout, this time with the Denver Broncos.

Outside of the Miami Dolphins and possibly the Arizona Cardinals, Rosen has basically exhausted every team currently drafting in the top 15 that could conceivably consider picking a quarterback. But he is most likely not going outside of the top 10, and possibly even the top five, in next month’s draft.

After having a disastrous time with their quarterback situation last year, the Broncos picked up their top option in free-agent Case Keenum this offseason. However, he’s only signed to a two-year deal. And with Paxton Lynch failing to impress in his first two years, the door is still very much open for the Broncos to select their quarterback of the future.

Rosen is the prototypical quarterback prospect with just about all the physical tools needed to be a star. But he does have some character issues, which John Elway and the Broncos front office will have to weigh in any potential decision.

The Broncos also need to decide whether to pick another quarterback over a rookie who can make an immediate impact. Denver’s window for contention is closing as their defense begins to age, and they may not be so keen to take another QB in the first round so soon after picking Lynch in 2016. Although, that could all change if Rosen sufficiently impresses during his private workout.
