Denver Broncos owner Pat Bowlen sadly passed away last week, and the Broncos have been debating ways to honor him ever since. There's been talk that the team could rename their stadium after him, but one thing is for sure.

The Broncos have decided to wear orange ‘MR. B' decals on their helmet next season, and Troy Renck of ABC Denver 7 shared a photo on Twitter of what it'll look like.

It's a nice gesture, and it's surely not the only tribute to Bowlen that we'll see next season. Bowlen has been out of the public eye for a while now ever since he got sick, but before that he was one of the league's most prominent and iconic owners.

Beloved by seemingly everyone in the Denver area, Bowlen announced in July of 2014 that he was stepping down from his role as the team's boss due to the onset of Alzheimer's disease.

Ever since he stepped down, the Broncos have been managed by CEO Joe Ellis. Bowlen originally bought the Broncos back in 1984, and led them on a great run of success. Denver has made the Super Bowl seven times under his ownership, and won it three times.

Things have gotten a bit contentious in his family in recent years, as several of his children have jockeyed for position. There are a number of Bowlens looking to take over the team from the trust that Ellis leads, and things should start to progress more quickly now that Bowlen has passed.

But for now, honoring Bowlen's memory is the most important thing, and that's what the Broncos seem to be focused on.

Bowlen is set to be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in a couple of months.
