The Denver Broncos couldn't come out of their last game with a victory. For that reason, their fight to make the playoffs has become much more difficult. Teddy Bridgewater took a hard fall against the Cincinnati Bengals, forcing Denver to potentially play Drew Lock against the Las Vegas Raiders.

According to James Palmer, the Broncos are expected to start Drew Lock over Teddy Bridgewater in Week 16. With Bridgewater going through the NFL's concussion protocols, he's not likely to be ready to go against the Raiders. For that reason, Lock should be under center for that game.

This might spell danger for the Broncos' playoff hopes, as Drew Lock hasn't been the most consistent quarterback in the NFL. Bridgewater has done a decent job this season, albeit, he hasn't been perfect. However, he's given Denver a chance to win in most of their matchups this year.

Lock on the other hand is a quarterback who is still adjusting to the professional level. Regardless, the Broncos are going to take it slow with Bridgewater, as they'll want him back as soon as possible. This isn't an ideal situation, but Denver is hopeful that Lock can get the job done against the Raiders.

We'll see how this game plays out, as Las Vegas is going through their own struggles. With the AFC West being one of the most closely contested divisions, this is an important game for both franchises. Even so, the Broncos hope to climb the boards and potentially make the postseason with, or without Teddy Bridgewater.
