Soon-to-be second-year signal-caller Drew Lock is currently gearing up for his first full season as the starter under center for the Denver Broncos. However, Lock apparently still has his sights set on being a two-sport athlete as the up-and-coming quarterback recently offered up his services to the Denver Nuggets, who are now preparing to restart the 2019-20 NBA regular season in Orlando, Florida.

With Nuggets head coach Mike Malone also ready to roll so it seems, perhaps Lock could serve as a reliable presence off the bench for Denver as the surging Western Conference franchise will look to make a run at an NBA title in the coming months.

Originally selected by the Broncos in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft out of Missouri, the 23-year-old Lock got off to a slow start as a rookie as Denver initially turned to longtime Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco as its starter to begin the 2019 regular season.

However, Lock would ultimately return from an injury to overtake Flacco, who was plagued by some injury trouble of his own, while it doesn't appear as though the young signal-caller or the Broncos will be looking back anytime soon. With the 2020 campaign now looming large, Lock will no doubt begin the year as the Broncos starting quarterback as Denver will give him a full 16-game regular-season slate to show exactly what he is capable of.

Unfortunately for Lock and company, though, the Broncos will be forced to contend with the defending Super Bowl Champion Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC West division.
