Emmanuel Sanders seems well on his way to reaching 100 percent come kickoff of the regular season. The Denver Broncos' wide receiver posted a video of himself running routes at near game speed on Friday, just six months after tearing his Achilles tendon.

Sanders suffered the injury on December 5th during practice. The Broncos immediately confirmed he was done for the remainder of the season, placing the veteran wide receiver on injured reserve.

Sanders has frequently been at Broncos headquarters with his teammates during the offseason despite not being cleared for OTAs or minicamp. He began running full speed and making aggressive lateral movements in May, ostensibly putting his recovery ahead of schedule.

Earlier this week, first-year Denver coach Vic Fangio predicted his team's No. 1 receiver, while admitting he was privy to no insider medical information, would be ready to play sooner than many anticipate.

“I got no medical basis for this, but I think he’ll be back before people think,” he said, per Nicki Jhabvala of The Athletic.

Sanders, 32, signed a three-year, $15 million deal with the Broncos in 2014 after beginning his career with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He established himself as one of the most reliable pass-catchers in football in the interim, signing a three-year, $33 million extension in 2016 to remain with Denver through the 2019 season. Last year, Sanders caught 71 passes for 868 yards and four touchdowns in 12 games played.

The Broncos traded for former Baltimore Ravens franchise quarterback Joe Flacco earlier in the offseason. Sanders is the Flacco's most proven and experienced target, and Denver is also counting on a big season from rising sophomore wideout Courtland Sutton.
