In spite of the unfortunate season for the Denver Broncos, there has been a bright spot in Left Tackle Garrett Bolles. According to Pro Football Focus, Bolles is the top-ranked tackle in the NFL this season and has yet to give up a sack through ten games.

His performance has not gone unnoticed as the Broncos have signed Bolles to a four-year extension through the 2024 season.

The Broncos have had a relatively disappointing season sitting at 4-6 going into Week 12—good for third in their division. There were some high expectations set on the team this season after a good draft and solid free agency geared towards surrounding Drew Lock with offensive firepower.

Unfortunately, the Broncos have been swarmed by the injury bug, and haven't been able to put together a very successful season.

Broncos top receiver, Courtland Sutton, tore his ACL in his first game, Von Miller dislocated his peroneal tendon before the season started, Philip Lindsay has had trouble staying on the field, and Drew Lock has been battling nagging injuries all season.

Bolles made his first Pro Bowl last season as is finally proving his worth as a first-round pick. He is on pace to become an All-Pro this season if he continues to play at such a high level. In fact, he could be a cornerstone in this Denver offense.

The Broncos did a smart thing by investing in their offensive line. Drew Lock being injury prone is the last thing Denver wants to persist.
