The Denver Broncos will see a familiar face returning to the sidelines as Gary Kubiak will be making his return to the league after a two-year absence as the Broncos offensive coordinator. This will be Kubiak's second stint with the Broncos as their offensive coordinator, as he served as the team's play caller from 1995 to 2005.

Kubiak lead the Broncos to a Super Bowl 50 victory over the Carolina Panthers in his first season as the team's head coach. Kubiak will team up with newly appointed head coach Vic Fangio and this could be a fantastic duo. Kubiak is known for his great offensive knowledge and Fangio ran the league's best defense in 2018 with the Chicago Bears.

Kubiak is one the most respected minds in football and his return to the team is huge considering many of the same players from the Super Bowl roster are still with the team. Wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders, linebacker Von Miller, linebacker Brandon Marshall, and cornerback Chris Harris Jr. are a few that were on that championship team.

The Broncos have a solid foundation for Kubiak to work with despite their struggles in 2018. Quarterback Case Keenum will reunite with Kubiak as Keenum played for the Houston Texans back when Kubiak was the team's head coach. Rookie running back Phillip Lindsay will be fun for Kubiak to work with, as the talented running back was named to the Pro Bowl in just his first season. Kubiak has plenty of offensive weapons at his disposal and this was a huge addition to complement the signing of Vic Fangio.
