After a 3-0 start, things have gone south for the Denver Broncos as they've lost four straight games. The offense has been abysmal as they've been held under 20 points in three out of their last four games. They're about to get a big boost in the form of star wide receiver Jerry Jeudy returning.

As James Palmer of the NFL Network notes, Jeudy is set to go for the Broncos in Week 8 when they take on the Washington Football Team. Jeudy has been out since Week 1 with an ankle injury.

Broncos head coach Vic Fangio had been hinting at this return date for Jeudy, per 247sports.

“I think the expectation is he will play this game,” Fangio said of Jeudy's status. “He was medically cleared to play this game, this past game. He wanted to play. We didn't think it was prudent to play him with no practice.”

It'll be a sight for sore eyes for the Broncos as they definitely need all the help they can get on offense right now. Things have sputtered in recent weeks and a matchup against a Washington defense that has not been great by any stretch of the imagination could be exactly what is needed for Denver to get back on track.

Jeudy figures to be a primary contributor for the offense now that he's back in the lineup and the Broncos will need to start piling up some wins if they have dreams of contending for a playoff spot this year.
