The Denver Broncos made quite a splash in the 2020 NFL Draft by taking wide receiver Jerry Jeudy with the 15th overall pick. Before he can emerge as a bonafide weapon in the passing game, he will first need to get used to playing at a mile above sea level.

Denver boasts one of the biggest home-field advantages in the NFL thanks to the high elevation. It seems Jeudy is still in the midst of making the adjustment, via Twitter:

Jeudy's comments are indicative of just how much of a difference the thin air makes for players that are not accustomed to it. Fortunately, it appears he has not let the restrictions of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic prevent him from getting a head start on getting acclimated.

Rookies are set to report for training camp next week with the veterans coming in a week after. Having to stay quarantined due to the ongoing pandemic is hardly ideal for the players trying to get acquainted with life in the NFL. For Jeudy, this even includes the climate of his new home with the Broncos.

The Broncos emphasized beefing up their supporting cast for quarterback Drew Lock in both free agency and the draft. They now boast a talented backfield duo now that Melvin Gordon is joining Phillip Lindsay. Meanwhile, the receiving corps was also beefed up with the arrival of both Jeudy and K.J. Hamler.

Although wide receiver Courtland Sutton remains as the No. 1 option in the passing game for the Broncos, it remains to be seen which of the rookies will emerge into a reliable, complementary weapon.
