Although the Denver Broncos have plenty of work to do if they hope to bounce back in the 2019 NFL season, their latest practice at training camp was highlighted by a scuffle between wide receivers Emmanuel Sanders and Courtland Sutton.

The fight between Sanders and Sutton raised questions considering both players were on the same side. Jackson feels it is on them and the team to put the drama behind them, via Troy Renck of Denver7:

“We're all competitors. It's going to get a little chippy out there sometimes, it could be with the guy that's on the same side as you,” Jackon said. “At the end of the day, it's about talking the issue out and moving on from it. You can learn from it and move on from it.”

Jackson has been around long enough to see his fair share of fights in training camp, however, it is safe to assume that not many happened between two offensive players. Regardless, it appears that the scuffle is not raising too many red flags in Denver.

There had already been plenty of speculation regarding the state of the receiving corps throughout the offseason. Quarterback Joe Flacco is supposed to be developing a rapport with his top two wideouts at this time of year. Unfortunately, it seems to be a bit more difficult than they would have imagined now that Sanders and Sutton are butting heads.

Despite all their optimism, the Broncos will need to ensure that both players can move forward from the indecent or otherwise they risk the drama spilling over into the locker room.
