In just four seasons, Peyton Manning made a massive impact on the Denver Broncos. After leaving his long-time home with the Indianapolis Colts, he set the NFL single-season record of touchdown passes in a season with 55, made three Pro Bowls, earned two All-Pro nominations and helped Denver win two AFC Championships and Super Bowl 50.

Before the kickoff of their Week 8 contest against the Washington Football Team, the Broncos revealed Manning's pillar in the franchise's Ring of Honor. His enshrinement places him alongside franchise legends such as John Elway, Champ Bailey, John Lynch, Steve Atwater and Shannon Sharpe.

At the ceremony, Manning was asked about rumors that he would join Denver's ownership group. In September, Manning reportedly looked into becoming a minority owner of the franchise.

Manning told reporters that he does not have a deal in place ā€”Ā jokingly mentioning the expensive price it would take to purchase a stake in the franchise ā€” and explained that he would have to take time to consider making such a pricey investment, even though he cares deeply about the team.

The Broncos enter their Sunday matchup against Washington with a 3-4 record. They'll look to snap their four-game losing streak as second-year wide receiver Jerry Jeudy returns from a lengthy absence.
