Peyton Manning knows a thing or two about going to the Denver Broncos after a highly successful stint with another franchise. Manning made a name for himself with the Indianapolis Colts before signing with the Broncos and ultimately winning another Super Bowl. Now, Russell Wilson will try to win a Super Bowl in Denver after winning one with the Seattle Seahawks.

It's only natural for Manning to offer up some advice to Wilson after his trade from the Seahawks, and the Hall of Fame quarterback told The Denver Post just how he's helping Russ' transition to Denver:

“I’ve talked to Russell a number of times and we’ve had conversations about some of the things that helped me in my transition to a different team that I think can apply to anybody making the jump, especially after being in a place for a long time,” Manning said. “[I’ve had] conversations Coach [Nathaniel] Hackett as well about some of those things, maybe some do’s and don’ts that helped me and can certainly apply and Russell can hit the ground running here in his first year.”

Manning expects Wilson to flourish with the Broncos after spending the first 10 seasons of his career in Seattle. Wilson is a nine-time Bowler with two Super Bowl appearances, with one of those resulting in a victory. That win came over Manning and the Broncos as the Seahawks' stout defense dominated the Broncos' normally high-powered offensive attack.

There's going to be a lot of pressure on Wilson to succeed after Denver gave up so much to get him to be the missing piece for a Super Bowl-ready roster. As long as he stays healthy, Wilson should prove Manning right and lead the Broncos to plenty of success. Whether that actually means a Super Bowl victory or not remains to be seen.
