Former Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning played with a lot of great players throughout his NFL career, but one guy stands out above the rest, Von Miller.

Manning was asked by the Broncos team website to talk about some of the players he played with during his career. Manning said right now the person he watches the most is his brother Eli for obvious reasons, but the player that impresses him every time he tunes in is Miller.

“I still get to see Eli play — much more now,” Peyton said. “I’ve seen him play, I think, three games a year in person since I’ve been retired…. People ask me a lot of times, ‘Who’s the best athlete you’ve ever played with?’ And I say, ‘Von Miller.’ Just some of the things he can do physically is special. So when you come to a Broncos game and they’re on defense, you find yourself kind of locked in, seeing this might be the game-changing sack-fumble play, or interception — some kind of game-changing play he can make. I like the way he handles his business and like the way he competes out there.”

Manning got to watch Miller play every day in practice for four years when the two were on the same squad, and even though now he can only watch him on gameday, he is still blown away by what he does on the field.

Miller is 30 years old and right in the middle of his prime, but he hasn't shown any signs that he will be slowing down any time soon, so Manning should be able to continue to watch him for many years to come.
