It has been nearly three weeks since EA Sports released Madden 20 to the public. On Tuesday morning, Phillip Lindsay finally got a “player likeness update” in this year's video game.

As you can see, the people at EA Sports decided to make Lindsay look like a generic player that doesn't resemble him at all. Fortunately, the new update for the video game has made some profound changes to the running back's player model.

At the least, he was handed an 86 overall rating at the launch of the video game.

This isn't the first time he has been overlooked when it comes to the football field. Coming into the 2018 season, the Broncos dynamic running back showed up to training camp as an undrafted rookie out of Colorado.

Despite being an underdog, Lindsay impressed during training camp and continually worked his way up the depth chart. By the start of the regular season, the Broncos had no choice but to hand the starting gig to the undrafted running back.

Throughout the season, Lindsay showcased why he deserved the job and cemented himself in the NFL history books. In his rookie season, Lindsay rushed for 1,037 yards and nine touchdowns. He also tacked on 35 receptions for 241 yards and another touchdown as a receiver.

After the season concluded, the Broncos' leading rusher became the third undrafted rookie running back to rush for over 1,000 yards. Additionally, Lindsay became the only undrafted rookie rusher to be named to the Pro Bowl.

Heading into the 2019 season, Lindsay will have to garner respect from the naysayers—including EA Sports.
