Right now, Russell Wilson still has two more years remaining on his current contract. The new Broncos recruit will likely enter negotiations for a new deal next year with Denver hoping to extend the 33-year-old's contract for a few more years.

The good news for the Broncos is that retirement is the last thing on Wilson's mind right now. The nine-time Pro Bowl quarterback will be turning 34 this coming season but if you ask him, Wilson believes that he still has a lot of gas left in the tank (h/t Nick Kosmider of The Athletic):

That is indeed a bold plan for Wilson, who apparently, wants to pull a Tom Brady by playing well into his 40s. The former Seattle Seahawks superstar is one of the top quarterbacks in the game today and at this point, we can definitely see this happening.

Broncos fans will be more excited by Wilson's Super Bowl objectives. He already has one Vince Lombardi trophy in the bag and it is clear that he is far from done. If all goes according to plan, then Denver will be set to win their first Super Bowl since 2015 under Wilson's leadership. It's an undeniable lofty goal but in the end, this is exactly why the Broncos brought Russell Wilson into the mix.
