Denver Broncos star linebacker Von Miller joked about being ready to come off IR to play quarterback for the team in Week 12 against the New Orleans Saints. As such, his tweet got the looking-eyes treatment from Melvin Gordon.

All four quarterbacks on the Broncos can't play against the Saints due to COVID-19. Miller, who is on IR after undergoing surgery to repair a dislocated peroneal tendon in his ankle, says he's been waiting his whole life to be “Von Elway.”

John Elway, of course, is Denver's president and the best quarterback in franchise history.

What is happening with the Broncos right now is truly bananas. However, it goes along with the year 2020, which has been crazy due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Von Miller, one of the top defenders in NFL history, is clearly joking with his tweet. Still, it's funny to see the future Hall of Famer talk about playing quarterback. As for Melvin Gordon, he's going to be getting a lot of carries against the Saints since the Broncos won't be using a traditional quarterback under center.

Denver is 4-6 on the season. The team is actually coming off an upset win over the Miami Dolphins in Week 11. With no QB on the roster for the Saints game, all signs point toward the Broncos getting blown out by New Orleans.
