Last Sunday, in a Denver Broncos win over the Los Angeles Chargers, outside linebacker Von Miller missed his first game since suffering a torn ACL in 2013. On Sunday, Dec. 8, he will be a game-time decision to play against the Houston Texans at NRG Stadium, per Zac Stevens of TheDNVR.com.

Miller is dealing with an MCL injury he suffered against the Buffalo Bills in Week 12. On Thursday, he admitted that the injury was too much to play through, as it limited his movements as a pass-rusher.

“If I was standing back off the ball, playing D-tackle or something like that, or inside backer, anything like that, but all exotic movements I really couldn’t do. My game has a foundation in exotic movements. I took it all the way up until the deadline and just couldn’t do it. I couldn’t even say it. I couldn’t even say I wasn’t playing, I had to let them make that call because in my head I had already geared my mind up. I was ready to go, I went to sleep the night before and went through all of my pregame rituals. Everything that I do, I was getting ready for the game, and I just couldn’t do it,” said Miller.

On the season, Miller has six sacks and 12 quarterback hits. A seven-time Pro Bowler and three-time first-team All-Pro, Miller is the engine of the Broncos' pass-rush. If he is out, the Broncos may struggle to get to the slippery quarterback Deshaun Watson on Sunday.
