There is now a notable injury concern for Denver Broncos quarterback Drew Lock in the Week 17 clash with the Los Angeles Chargers.

In the Broncos’ opening drive of the game, Lock took on a hard hit from Chargers defensive star Joey Bosa during a 6-yard scramble run.

Initially, it seemed as if Lock was good to go following the hit. He not only completed the remainder of the Broncos' opening drive, but he was also out on the field for their second drive of the contest.

However, the third-year quarterback later went into the locker room due to a shoulder injury. He subsequently missed the team's third drive of the game, as head coach Vic Fangio opted to bring in third-string quarterback Brett Rypien to feature in the game. Rypien entered Week 17 with a mere 40 pass attempts of experience over his opening two years so far in the NFL.

While the Broncos initially listed him as questionable for the remainder of the game, Lock made his return to action in the team's first drive of the second quarter. It remains to be seen on just how the Broncos will handle this injury concern for the former Missouri Tigers star.

The Broncos are currently looking to play the role of spoiler, as a win could keep the Chargers out of the AFC playoff picture heading into the final week of the regular season.
