Peyton Manning retired from the NFL after the 2015 season. The Indianapolis Colts and Denver Broncos legend is enjoying his retirement, mostly being involved in the media around the sport. However, he might be getting into the NFL again, this time in a different role.

According to CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora, Manning is actively seeking involvement in the potential sale of the Broncos. Manning is currently residing in Denver and currently watching the situation with great interest. While the franchise isn't up for sale at this moment, there's increased speculation that it will be in the near future.

According to the same report, Manning is currently calling up potential investor groups to seek possible involvement. However, should he not be a minority owner, he has also offered himself to be involved in a managerial role. It would be fun to see Manning back in the game, with a more direct role, rather than the broadcasting one he currently has (though he's good at that).

In addition to these Manning rumors, rapper Jay-Z and Amazon founder Jeff Bezos have been mentioned as potential Broncos buyers. If all these rumors are true, Stan Kroenke will not be short of suitors for his NFL franchise.
