The Denver Broncos are anxiously awaiting the return of several notable players on offense. It seems wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders is making solid progress.

Sanders has spent the offseason nursing a torn Achilles he suffered during the 2018 NFL season. He gave quite an encouraging update on his health, via the Footwork_King on Twitter:

There is no question that this is certainly a good sign for the Broncos. Not only does Sanders look healthy, but he appears to already be in midseason form. It is safe to say that he will be able to resume his role as the top option in the passing game, moving forward.

Denver decided to usher in a bit of a youth movement with their receiving corps with Sanders serving as the only veteran in a crop of young, unproven options. The 32-year-old finished the 2018 campaign with 71 receptions for 868 receiving yards and four touchdowns in 12 games before the injury. Despite all the changes, he could quickly emerge as a bit of a safety net for quarterback Joe Flacco.

Sanders could be facing some stiff competition for the No. 1 spot from wide receiver Courtland Sutton. Sutton emerged as a go-to option down the final stretch of the season and has since been adamant about getting his work in with Flacco this offseason. It will be interesting to see how the pecking order shakes out, heading into Week 1.

Regardless, it seems the Broncos are content with relying on the pairing of Sanders and Sutton to carry their passing game in 2019.
