Joe Flacco left his first official practice with the Denver Broncos exuding confidence. Not only did the veteran signal-caller insist he still has ā€œa lot left in the tankā€ entering the 12th season of his career, but Flacco also made it clear that he believes his best football still lies ahead of him.

Obviously, the Denver Broncos' new starting quarterback wasn't thinking about this interception by Isaac Yiadom while discussing his prospects for 2019 and beyond.

Yiadom was a third-round pick in the 2018 NFL Draft. In 13 games last season, including one start at cornerback, he had 20 tackles, one interception, and three passes defensed. Firmly behind Chris Harris, Kareem Jackson, and Bryce Callahan in the pecking order at his position, Yiadom is battling for the role of Denver's fourth cornerback in training camp.

Flacco was acquired by the Broncos in February from the Baltimore Ravens in exchange for a fourth-round pick. He lost his longtime job as Baltimoreā€™s starter midway through last season, when rookie first-rounder Lamar Jackson replaced him as a starter due to injury and was later named the teamā€™s full-time starter. In nine games, Flacco, who led the Ravens to victory in Super Bowl XLVII, threw for 2,465 yards, 12 touchdowns, and six interceptions while completing 61.2 percent of his passes.
