The Denver Broncos have stumbled a bit through the 2018 season sitting just under the .500 mark through the first seven games played that has put them possibly in the trade market to make a push in the second half of the year.

Among that is some lingering talk that former Pro Bowl wide receiver Demaryius Thomas being on the trade market prior to the Oct. 30 trade deadline. Thomas hinted at that possibility on Monday as he voiced that he believes his time is coming up with the franchise, according to Zac Stevens of BSN Denver.

“That's good thing if someone is interested that means I can still play ball. I got a chance if I get traded. I have been hearing it the whole season and some of it is true. My time is coming up but I don't know.”

Thomas had indicated that there has been hearing this chatter all season along with how things had nearly transpired over the offseason with him nearly being cut may have led to him to hold that belief about his future with the team. There is a desire to remain with the Broncos, but that appears to be out of his hands.

The 30-year-old is in the fourth year of his five-year, $70 million deal that will pay him nearly $30 million for the next two seasons. In the final year of his deal in 2019, he is set to earn $14 million base salary, but the team can take a dead cap hit of roughly $3.5 million to get out of the last year. That said, the Broncos look like they are willing to listen to offers for their star wide receiver that should see some intriguing offers thrown their way.

Thomas may be taking a bit of a backseat to wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders in the passing game, but he has continued to produce with 33 catches for 372 receiving yards and three touchdowns that has put him on pace to record 75 receptions and 850 receiving yards and seven touchdowns.
