Although the Cleveland Browns are slated to have one of the league's most dynamic passing attacks, the AFC North franchise still realizes how important it is to run the football — especially starting quarterback Baker Mayfield. As it stands today, the Browns currently employ three top-notch running backs in Nick Chubb, Duke Johnson Jr., and Kareem Hunt, which will likely give the up-and-coming franchise a rock solid rushing attack as well.

“We still need to be able to run it in our division,” Mayfield recently said, via CantonRep.com. “Mentality wise, it is a tough division. We have people talking about our receivers and tight ends, but we have to be able to run the ball in short yardage and in cold weather. I’m hoping everybody not talking about the running backs kind of [ticks] them off.”

More specifically, Mayfield also had some nice things to say about the aforementioned Chubb, his character and ability to be a good teammate.

“He just works really hard,” Mayfield said. “He cares about winning more than anything. He had 1,000 yards and lost it. He didn’t care about that. He cared about the fact that we lost the last game of the year. That speaks volumes about who he is as a teammate.”

Of course, the Browns will still need to compete against the Baltimore Ravens, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Cincinnati Bengals, which is never an easy task. Nonetheless, the AFC North always seems to be the Browns' division for the taking with the 2019 campaign now looming.
