Baker Mayfield's exit from the Cleveland Browns is just a matter of when, it's just that a trade has yet to materialize. However, if you're going to ask the QB himself where he sees himself playing next, he has a pretty good idea.

Speaking on the “You Never Know” podcast, Mayfield highlighted that he doesn't know yet where he'll end up in. Joining the Indianapolis Colts were a possibility a week ago, but now, the Seattle Seahawks are a huge possibility.

“This would’ve been a week-and-a-half ago, I would’ve said Indianapolis,” Mayfield said before noting that the Seahawks are “probably the most likely option,” per Jake Trotter of ESPN.

“Even then, no idea. … I’m ready for the next chapter,” Mayfield added.

Everyone knew Baker Mayfield's days with the Browns are numbered after the team traded for Deshaun Watson from the Houston Texans. Of course the next move for the team, naturally, was to find a trade partner willing to take the QB in.

Unfortunately, the Browns have not made a lot of progress in that regard. There are a variety of reasons reported why the team has been unable to trade him, one being the fact that some see him as more of a liability than asset–which is why one team even asked for a pick to trade for the QB.

Another alleged reason is his $18 million salary. No team wants to take that risk of absorbing such huge contract, which is why the Browns might need to eat some of that money just to part ways with him.

A lot can still happen, but as it currently stands, no deal is imminent for Mayfield.
